SHOPMANAGER L’UNIQUE
Together with your team, you are responsible for the success of your petrol station. Customers of it a visit to your shop as positive and like to come back! No two days will be the same. One moment you are busy with planning and schedules, in the meantime you solve another breakdown or break-down and then you can get ready for a job interview. You also enjoy jumping in to make sure customers get everything they need!
What will you be doing?
Both for the petrol station and for your team, you make sure everything is tiptop. You will step into a very independent position, but will of course get plenty of support from the area manager. You will manage a team of approximately X number of people. You will be presented with a varied range of tasks.
- Training, coaching and developing your team
- Ensuring full staffing levels. Preparation of rosters and job interviews.
- Working in the shop
- Receiving and checking orders.
- Ensuring the safety of customers and your team.
- Keeping accurate cash records
- Ensuring optimal customer service
Who are you?
You can prioritise like no other and always keep an overview. You are aware that you put both the customer and your team first. In addition, you do not let any commercial opportunity pass you by.
- You are sociable and customer-friendly
- Flexible, punctual and reliable
- Experience in Hospitality, Retail or leading a team are all pluses!
- Flexible attitude to work and working hours. Service stations are also open in the evening, at weekends and on public holidays
- An independent working attitude and great sense of responsibility

We are looking for a FULL-TIME offer for this position so 40h per week.
Who will you be working for?
The L’Unique shops can now be found in 25 locations all over Belgium. The brand is part of MAES Energy Mobility. The shops can only be found at MAES, ESSO and SHELL petrol stations. With the shops, we want to be more of a neighbourhood shop than just a shop at a petrol station. The local character is very important to us. You can go there for the usual things in a shop, from sandwiches to drinks and snacks to car products. But also for forgotten groceries, cleaning and household products, preserves, toilet paper and ice creams. There is even a delicious bakery for fresh rolls and other goodies!
