What can you eat and buy if you live a vegan lifestyle?
In a nutshell, a vegan lifestyle means that you renounce everything that comes from an animal. Unlike being vegetarian, you don’t just swear off eating meat products, you don’t use any animal products. You also do not eat any fish or shellfish and everything that comes directly from an animal. In other words, no honey, beeswax, dairy products, eggs and so on. By the way, cosmetics can also be vegan because, for example, they are not tested on an animal. Lush, among others, known for its soaps and strong-scented effervescent balls, only sell products that are not tested on animals. It is therefore a big part of their PR and Marketing.
Can’t vegans eat anything at all then?
Of course, this is not the case. There are several delicious meat substitutes on the market, which, by the way, you can also find in our shops. Think of tempeh, tofu, hummus lentils and much more. As a vegan, you can get extra nutrients from seeds, nuts, vegetables and grains.
